The AWA Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Commander’s Palace.
6:00 pm – cash bar
6:30 pm – Dinner meeting begins
Keynote Speaker: Cyndi Nguyen, New Orleans City Council, District E
Wynne Professionalism Award recipient: Judge Robin D. Pittman
We will enjoy a special tasting menu:
- Turtle Soup (a Commander’s classic spiked with sherry)
- Commander’s Romaine Salad (hearts of romaine, Parmesan, pressed eggs, pecan smoked bacon & French bread Croutons with classic black pepper-buttermilk dressing)
- Demi Pecan Crusted Fish (Champagne poached jumbo lump crab, spiced pecans & crushed corn sauce)
- Demi Tournedos of Black Angus Beef (Whiskey smoked onions, roasted mushrooms, Creole smashed new potato & glace de viande)
- Classic Crème Brulee (a rich vanilla custard with a caramelized Dixie crystal crust)
- Soda/Iced Tea included
