The AWA April luncheon will be held on April 17, 2014, noon, at Deanie’s Seafood, 841 Iberville Street.
Speaker: We are excited to have Leigh Thorpe from Projects with Purpose. Projects With Purpose organizes teambuilding exercises that bring participants together and have a lasting impact on communities. Projects with Purpose helps connect businesses with non-profits to do community service projects. For more information about the organization, click here.
Cost: $45 members; $50 non members.
Menu:
Appetizer: Choice of (1) Gumbo or (2) Bucktown Blues Salad
Entrée: Choice of (1) Mini Seafood Platter-Fresh, golden fried shrimp, oysters, catfish and crawfish dressing balls served with French fries and coleslaw; (2) Crawfish Etouffee topped Redfish-crawfish tails smothered in a butter blend of onions, peppers, celery and garlic to make a delicious sauce served over a fresh filet of broiled Redfish, served with vegetable of the day; or (3) Bayou Seafood Salad-Fresh lump crabmeat and boiled shrimp top baby iceberg wedge, tomato, cucumber and cheese, served with remoulade dressing
Dessert: Choice of (1) Bread pudding or (2) Cheese cake
Iced tea, fountain soft drinks and coffee included
