Due to the positive response to our book drive to help KIPP Central City Primary last school year, we have once again chosen this project as one of our Community Service initiatives. KIPP’s mission is “to build the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual foundations that our students will need to pursue higher education, create their best selves, and transform their world.”
KIPP is in need of books for their library and for use in small class study groups. At our request, Theresa Schmitt, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, has created an Amazon.com “wishlist” of needed books. The teachers at KIPP are very excited and grateful, and have added numerous books to the list.
We hope that you will consider purchasing one or more of the books from the wishlist. Your purchased books will be sent directly to the school.* (USED BOOKS ARE ACCEPTABLE)
We believe that by donating books, we will have a lasting impact on the KIPP students.
