The AWA May Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, noon, at Deanie’s Seafood restaurant in the French Quarter (841 Iberville Street).
Speakers: Katherine Mattes JD (Director of Tulane Law School Criminal Clinic), Becki Kondkar JD (Director of Tulane Law School Domestic Violence Clinic), and Marcus Kondkar PhD (Loyola University Sociology Department) will speak on: “Domestic Violence Victims Who Kill Their Abusers: Exploring Whether Louisiana Should Create New Legal Remedies for Victims Serving Time.”
Menu:
Choice of (1) seafood gumbo or bucktown blues salad;
Choice of (1) mini fried seafood platter, (2) etouffee topped redfish, or (3) bayou seafood salad;
Dessert: Coconut Custard Bread Pudding.
Also includes iced tea, fountain soft drinks and coffee.
